Next Chapter Talent have partnered with a super sophisticated, boutique property developer in their search for a highly organized and proactive Finance and Administration Officer to join their talented team and assist in playing a pivotal part in supporting the financial stability and success of their organisation.

This role involves overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Additionally, the role includes various administrative duties, making it ideal for candidates who excel in both financial management and office administration. This position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Accurately enter financial data to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and review financial reports to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Utilize Xero accounting software for financial tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer financial guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to verify accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for review.
  • Proactive Attitude - Anticipating needs and addressing issues before they become problems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a focus on financial reporting and administration.
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to interpret financial data.
