Our client, an innovative design and manufacturing company specialising in workplace interiors, is looking to recruit a Graduate Industrial Designer to join their team. Their mission is to create high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing products that enhance modern workspaces. Collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail are at the core of everything they do.

Due to company growth, they are seeking a talented and driven Graduate Industrial Designer with a passion for design and a strong interest in the workplace interiors industry.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in 3D rendering, alongside a strong foundation in industrial design. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to work closely with the CEO, gain hands-on experience and contribute to innovative projects that combine form, function, and manufacturability.

This is an office based role, based in Beaconsfield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative and functional designs using SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360.
  • Produce high-quality 3D renders to visualise concepts and final products.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and cross-functional teams to conceptualise, prototype, and refine designs.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, materials, and technologies relevant to acoustic booths and office pods.
  • Develop detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Travel to the Far East as required to collaborate with manufacturers, oversee production, and gather insights.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and problem-solving mindset, going above and beyond to achieve design goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360 is essential.
  • Experience in 3D rendering software such as KeyShot, Blender, or similar.
  • Strong interest or experience in the acoustic booth or office pod industry.
  • Exceptional 3D modelling and visualisation skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to diverse cultural environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
