They are expanding their team at a rapid rate due ongoing growth and they now require a Graduate Interior Designer to work within their design team and assist the head of design.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a graduate with a proven track record in interior design.

**Must be able to show design portfolio from concept to render*

Duties include

  • General assistance to head of design working on a variety of commercial furniture projects
  • Meeting and liaising with clients to assess and advise on project costs & technical specifications
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical and 3D drawings and renders
  • Preparation of presentations boards
  • Assistance with the selection of finishes and materials
  • Assistance with the selection of FF&E
  • Keeping abreast of developments in design techniques and trends
  • Product modelling
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the business

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Relevant graduate with proven track record in interior design
  • Previous experience in commercial interior design
  • Computer literate - good skills in AutoCAD, Photo-shop, Sketch-Up, Rendering packages such as Vector Works, Blender or Twin Motion
  • Ability to sketch is desirable
  • Good conceptual design and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • A team player
