We have a role for a Quantity Surveyor with construction knowledge to join a growing team in the London and Buckinghamshire areas.

If you have knowledge within the fit out, interiors, joinery, glass, glazing, commercial build, architectural glass, structural glass, refurbishment, get in touch.

Overall Responsibility:

Supports the project manager commercially and is responsible for:

Ensuring project costings are met.

Ensuring compliance with the project requirements.

Agreeing variations.

Processes claims and payments.

Producing and managing costing reports.

Considering the Environmental Assessment Methods requirements when choosing suppliers and agreeing products/materials costs.

Communicating with the Environmental & Sustainability Lead whether a project targets one or more of the following Standards: BREEAM, LEED, SKA and WELL.

Proving upon request estimated products costs.

Specific Duties

Handover from Estimating

Tender Cost Value

Start up a financial file

Obtain and agree procurement schedule

Establish valuation dates with clients: OSCA.

Projected sales forecast

Set up valuation format

Value all variations and submit to the client

Instructions to be obtained for all variations

Submit valuation to Client

Obtain payment certificate/notice

Ensure Credit Control Department raise an invoice

Cost value reconciliations

Submit / agree final account

Invoice retention release

Design signoff

Place orders to Sub-contractors

Sub-contractor Meetings

Instruct sub-contractors for variations

Payments to Sub-contractors

Sub-Contractors Payment Notices

Agree Final Accounts with Sub-contractors

Visit site regularly:

Clearing problem invoices:

Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Responsibilities
