Temporary Finance Assistant (4-8 Weeks)

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional looking for a short-term role in finance? My client are seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join the team for a 4-8 week contract.

Location: Beaconsfield

Duration: 4-8 weeks (filling in for someone joining who is currently working a notice)

Contract Type: Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare payment runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase ledger transactions.enerate and issue customer invoices.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and assist with credit control.
  • Post and allocate customer receipts to accounts.
  • Resolve any queries related to sales invoices and payments.Data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
  • Preparing financial reports and managing spreadsheets.
  • Supporting month-end processes and compliance checks.
  • Administrative duties to support the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally including purchase and sales ledger duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Immediately Available to start.
