Supply Desk are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art and Design teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Chinnor, starting in September 2024.  This secondary school is known for their strong academic tradition, innovative teaching methods, and commitment to student well-being. The role will require the following responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering a diverse curriculum that stimulates creativity and critical thinking.
  • Supporting students in developing their artistic skills and helping them create portfolios for GCSEs.
  • Providing individualized feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Art department to enhance the overall learning experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification with a specialism in Art and Design.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Art and Design in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Passion for Art: A deep commitment to promoting the arts and encouraging student creativity.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
