The role will require the following responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering a diverse curriculum that stimulates creativity and critical thinking.
- Supporting students in developing their artistic skills and helping them create portfolios for GCSEs.
- Providing individualized feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the Art department to enhance the overall learning experience.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification with a specialism in Art and Design.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Art and Design in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Passion for Art: A deep commitment to promoting the arts and encouraging student creativity.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
