Are you an experienced retail manager? Do you have a background in gifts, cards, toys, jewellery or fashion? If so you may be just who we are looking for!

Temptation Gifts has been on the High Street for over 40 years. We have seven stores in the Home Counties as well as a very strong online presence.

Our stores are bright, inviting and fun to visit - selling known brands like Jellycat, Yankee, Dunoon, East of India, Ted Baker, Wrendale etc as well as lots of lesser known companies that produce wonderful, innovative gifts.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Retail Manager to join our Beaconsfield team. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales. If you have a passion for retail and possess strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you.

Good computer skills and good written and spoken English are essential.

Key responsibilities

  • To ensure that everyone working in or visiting Temptation experiences a welcoming, upbeat, positive environment.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by coaching and developing staff on effective sales techniques
  • To achieve weekly and monthly targets
  • To train, motivate and manage all staff to achieve personal and store objectives.
  • To maintain store appearance by organizing and arranging merchandise displays
  • Manage and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Requirements

  • At least two years recent retail management experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent merchandising skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Time management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively

This is a permanent, full time position - working 5 days across a 7 day rota.

About you

  • Do you have similar (gifts,cards,fashion etc) retail store management experience?
  • Have you managed a team of up to 7 members of staff?
  • Own transport would be ideal so you could train in the other stores.
