Vacancy: Production & Forklift Operator

Location: Beaminster, Dorset

Salary: £32,000-£32,250 per annum

JHP Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence to join our esteemed food manufacturing client based in Beaminster, Dorset on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing stock levels for production, safely loading and unloading delivery vehicles, operating food processing equipment and have good knowledge of food quality and safety procedures. A valid Counterbalance forklift licence and own transport is essential for this role.

Main Accountabilities:

• Consistently adhere to high levels of food quality standards
• Pick and pack finished products according to customer order specifications
• Use company warehouse management systems to manage stock levels
• Use company order systems in order to efficiently pick batch ingredients for production
• Operate and monitor ingredient processing machinery
• Use Counterbalance forklifts to safely and efficiently load and unload vehicles

Working hours:

• Continental shift pattern, consisting of days, nights, weekdays and weekends

Salary:

• £32,000-£32,250 per annum
