Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a major specialist contractor in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on high value project at Hinkley Point. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the most prestigious current UK based projects.This role will be an employed position for a minimum of 2 years with an excellent salary and benefits package. Travel and accomodation allowances are negotiable in addition.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for: 

  • Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of this key nuclear industry project
  • Commercial responsibility for the contract management and delivery
  • Managing variations and changes with customers
  • Working as part of an experienced commercial team
  • Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes. 

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need: 

  • Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
  • Construction industry experience in a commercial role
  • Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence
  • An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
  • Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
