Auto Electrician - Bespoke Classic Vehicles

This is a dream job building beautiful cars in a fantastic workshop with a great team of people

We’re looking for someone who loves the cars, does first class work and has the experience mentioned below:

Proficiency in electrical fault finding and repairs, specifically within classic and vintage vehicle systems.

Extensive experience in complete rewiring of classic cars using Original Equipment (OE) manufactured wiring looms and harnesses.

Skilled in refurbishing rare classic car wiring looms, utilizing original materials reflective of the car’s period.

Expertise in designing and fabricating custom wiring looms for rare or unobtainable classic car models, tailored to customer specifications.

Hands-on experience with charging system upgrades, including dynamo-to-alternator conversions and customized electronic regulator integrations, all while maintaining the car's original appearance.

Proven capability in testing, repairing, and re-engineering classic car alternators and dynamos, with experience in dynamo rewinding services.

Strong background in testing and repairing classic car starter motors.

Knowledgeable in classic car lighting upgrades, including the use of traditional filament bulbs or LEDs fitted within original casings for enhanced road visibility.

Familiarity with indicator upgrades, ensuring increased visibility with improved flash rates and the integration of custom-made electronic flasher units, matching traditional or modern bulbs (filament or LED) while preserving the car’s authentic features.

Experience fitting customer-provided accessories in classic cars while maintaining original aesthetics.
