I am delighted to be supporting a leading business based in North Suffolk seeking to recruit a Financial Controller in a key role contributing to the financial strategy of the business whilst overseeing financial operations across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of all aspects of consolidated and individual financial reporting and controls.
  • Coordinating financial operations and reporting across all business sites/entities.
  • Ensuring consistency of finance processes and controls across multiple sites/entities.
  • Providing financial leadership to site-based teams through regular engagement and collaboration.
  • Coordinating the preparation of budget, financial forecasting, and cashflow management.
  • Preparing and publishing all monthly/periodic financial reports and explaining variances.
  • Improving and developing monthly financial reports with business KPIs.
  • Overseeing VAT & Customs requirements.
  • Improving business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Setting up and overseeing financial reporting for new subsidiaries.
  • Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external personnel where required.
  • Supporting the business with financial strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, including training and succession planning.
  • Acting as the finance lead on digital transformation and system integration projects.
  • Managing external stakeholders including auditors, banks, insurers, and JV partners.

The successful candidate will be qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent with significant experience in financial management and a proven track record of leading finance teams and strong communication skills, confident leadership and demonstrated business acumen with the ability to influence at all levels.
