A well-established and highly successful business in Suffolk is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance function through a period of growth and investment. This is a senior leadership role, suited to a commercially minded and technically strong finance professional with experience in managing teams and driving process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decisions
  • Leading a small finance team, ensuring development and high performance
  • Overseeing a major capital investment project
  • Supporting system upgrades and ERP improvements
  • Managing relationships with auditors, tax advisers, and external stakeholders

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
  • Strong background in finance leadership, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working on-site and closely with operational teams
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
  • Experienced in project costing and capital expenditure
  • Proactive, confident communicator who can challenge and influence at all levels
