We are working on behalf of an Alternative Provision located within an easy commute from Beccles to find a KS2 teacher for the new academic year. The position is to work full-time taking on full teaching responsibilies.

You will be teaching a small class of 5 pupils, who attaend this setting because they found the mainstream classroom unsettling. You will have two TAs as part of you class team and you will be following the curriculum whilst adpating it to meet the individual needs of the children in your class.

Please note: YOU DO NOT NEED to have a specialism in SEND yourself! The important thing when teaching SEND is that you understand the valueof inclusion and opportunity, and are someone who is able to see the children's strengths; offering encouragement and support.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification
• QTS (ideally)
• An Enhanced, Child Workforce DBS
• Availability Mon-Fri
• Previous experience of working with children with SEND
• A patient and empathetic manner
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of the children
• Skills in leading and working as part of a team
