Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Beccles

Salary: £44,000 increasing to £47,850 after 6 months probation

Shift Pattern: 12 hour Days & Nights (No Weekends)

About the CompanyWe are working with a leading plastics manufacturer based in Beccles, renowned for their high-quality products and innovative approach. They are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team.

The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and driving efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (plastics experience is advantageous).
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or HNC in Engineering).
  • A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to teamwork.
