£35,550 per annum12-hour rotating shifts, averaging 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)We are looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Technician to start in May on behalf of a leading multinational manufacturing business for their site in Beccles.This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Working closely with the engineering and production teams, you will help to minimise downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.
  • Assist with machine installations, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, motors, pumps, and automated systems (desirable).
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to improvement.
  • Flexibility and a conscientious approach to work.
