Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: 3 shifts on a rotating basis, 6.00am to 2.00pm / 2.00pm to 10.00pm / 10.00pm to 6.00am
Salary: £30,000 - £35,500

Job Purpose:Join dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician, providing technical support to the manufacturing unit. You'll be responsible for carrying out tool changes and machine settings efficiently, ensuring quality production in line with company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tool changes and settings for plastics moulding machinery.
- Conduct fault finding on machinery and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure safety checks and QC inspections are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company procedures.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in Engineering or Vehicle Maintenance.
- Proven experience in a technical role, preferably in an engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/packaging.
- Knowledge of blow moulding or injection moulding processes.
