Role Overview:
Our client, a renowned manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Technician to join their team in Beccles. This role is essential in supporting the Shift Supervisor, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform QC checks on machines as required
  • Conduct detailed visual and functional inspections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all production checks.
  • Report machine faults and stoppages to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow procedures for tool and color changes, ensuring safe machine operation.
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Complete all check/log sheets and pallet labels accurately.
  • Clear machines of previous waste before starting new production runs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience, such as a background as a Motor Mechanic or similar, and strong competence in an engineering environment. They should be able to work independently, taking full responsibility for tasks, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be a logical and methodical problem solver, a proactive team player, and adaptable to changing work demands. Additionally, they should be detail-oriented, meticulous in following instructions, and committed to maintaining high work standards. A degree or equivalent qualification and experience with setting machines and tooling, would be advantageous.
