Technician Production

Technician / Beccles/ Salary up to £32k depending on the experience.

Position 1 Recruitment are looking for a technicianto join our client, manufacturing site based in Beccles.

The role of the Technicianis to assist the shift supervisor in ensuring that planned and unplanned tasks are performed with effectiveness, efficiency, and always in alignment with the standards set by the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• QC check is completed on machines or at your supervisors request accurately.
• Ensure all production checks & documentation are completed.
• Report to your Supervisor when any machines are stopped for any reason other than tool changes. Report all machine faults if they cannot be cured or are affecting production.
• Ensure that tool changes, colour changes etc., are carried out in accordance with the training procedure as laid down by the Manager/Technical supervisor or relevant work instructions.
• All check/log sheets and pallet labels should be filled out clearly and correctly with all relevant information.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.

Successful candidate should possess experience in technical fields such asmechanic/engineeringor similar roles within manufacturing environments. They should demonstrate the ability to work independently to achieve objectives and take responsibility for their work and actions. Additionally, a strong understanding of tool changes or qualifications in engineering would be advantageous, they are not mandatory.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, No night shifts three shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 /10:00 to 18:00, and 14:00 to 22:00.
