Opus People Solutions are seeking a Deputy Manager - Children's Home in Beccles.

We're on the lookout for a Deputy Manager to work at our client's EBD children's home in Beccles, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, situated in stunning grounds.

This is a rare opportunity available due to recent expansion. You'll be joining a fantastic provider that puts it's employees and the children they look after at the heart of what they do.

We're looking for experienced Residential Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, or Team Leaders who are ready to advance their careers and lead a team. If you're passionate about putting children first and eager to grow in your role, we want to hear from you! Our client will support you in achieving a Level 5 Qualification, paving the way for future success.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Support the Registered Manager and senior leadership team in daily operations.
  • Lead the staff team, mentor and support junior members of staff
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their abscence.
  • Develop care practice within the service.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading in a children's residential setting (eg. Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader)
  • Full UK Driving License
