Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Beccles
Salary: 43,500 per annum based on experience
Hours of Work: 8-hour Double Day shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm) Monday to Friday

We are thrilled to work with an outstanding global manufacturing company based in Beccles that, due to expansion, is seeking to welcome multiple talented individuals to their team!

Job Purpose:
We're seeking an enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client's team. This role involves all aspects of maintenance, with a focus on autonomous, preventive maintenance programs, breakdowns, and supporting Continuous Improvement (C.I.) projects and refurbishments as required. Safety systems and safe working practices are paramount in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to maximize productivity.
  • Deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown services on operational equipment.
  • Implement preventative and autonomous maintenance programs.
  • Respond to breakdowns as required by the shift team leader.
  • Approach all tasks with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with relevant work procedures.
  • Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
  • Communicate relevant information to engineering team leaders.
  • Work as part of a team and independently during planned and emergency breakdown situations.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and hygiene rules at all times.

Academic/Professional Qualifications:

  • GCSE Grade 4/C level or above
  • Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with a strong understanding of a second.

  • Experience with production equipment maintenance and refurbishment.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
