Highbury are working with a Client who are expanding their warehouse team!
As a growing company, they're are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join their fast-paced warehouse team. You'll play a vital role in picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various warehouse tasks, including receiving goods, picking, packing, operating MHE, and loading vehicles.
- Accurately receive, unload, and store incoming stock while efficiently picking and packing orders using our barcoding software and PDAs.
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to manage materials effectively.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock takes and address any discrepancies.
- Replenish warehouse pick face items daily and prepare shipments with proper packaging and documentation.
- Keep the warehouse organised, safe, and clean.
- Support stock control and quality assurance efforts.
- Step in as a delivery driver when needed to ensure timely customer deliveries.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with a team.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Regularly lift objects weighing between 5-25kg; may occasionally lift more than 45kg.
- Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Good physical fitness to stay active throughout the day.
- Commitment to seeing tasks through to completion with a strong work ethic.
Monday - Friday hours a week.
