Hales Group is seeking a Welder/Plater for a client in Beccles, offering a pay rate of £15.40 per hour with regular overtime available.
The role requires experience in MMA and Fluxcore Welding, along with the ability to read technical drawings.

This position is temporary to permanent, with working hours from 7.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Hales Group are currently seeking a Welder/Plater to join our client based in Beccles. You will be working for a small driven team to produce, maintain and repair products. Main Duties Include:

MMA and Fluxcore Welding
Working with Aluminium, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
Set up and adjust welding equipment
Create quality welds, going by drawings
Continuous quality inspection and repair welded structures
Preparing products to be welded by grinding, drilling, and milling
Ensuring all equipment is in working order
Maintaining a safe and clean working area

In order to be considered for this role;

Experience of MMA and Fluxcore Welding is essential
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of welding equipment and safety standards
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Mechanically and technically minded
Able to complete work that is physically demanding
