Sous Chef

Pierluigis, a versatile fine dining restaurant in Beckenham, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced SeniorSous chef to join our team.

This role requires working flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate should possess fine dining experience, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and have experience in previous fine dining high end establishments.

We are looking for a team player to join Pierluigis family and be part of our exciting new projects.

Working alongside the head chef in the heart of our restaurant you will:

  • Manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff with menu preparation and ideas
  • Ensure food quality and freshness
  • Inspire and encourage your team
  • Deliver the highest quality food
  • Be the maestro' of multi-tasking and organisation
  • Have great attention to details and be able to process and solve problems efficiently
  • Understand cooking methods, ingredients, equipments and procedures
  • The successful candidate should have Food and Beverage knowledge, strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Italian food and cooking knowledge is preferable but not essential
  • The candidate will need a minimum 2 years relevant experience as a Sous Chef
