Sonic Summary

We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Mental Health team at Bethlem Royal Hospital, starting ASAP until at least 04/04/2025.
The role requires a registered OT with clinical experience in mental health settings and involves working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support service users.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help individuals improve their quality of life and develop skills for independent living.
Salary details are not specified, but the position is at Band 6 level within the NHS pay scale.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Mental Health team. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering occupational therapy interventions to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help service users develop skills for independent living, manage their conditions, and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments to identify the functional needs of service users.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
Provide therapeutic interventions to support individuals in achieving personal recovery goals.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, nurses, social workers, and psychiatrists.
Support service users in developing coping strategies, improving daily living skills, and reintegrating into the community.
