Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Mental Health team. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering occupational therapy interventions to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help service users develop skills for independent living, manage their conditions, and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments to identify the functional needs of service users.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support individuals in achieving personal recovery goals.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, nurses, social workers, and psychiatrists.
  • Support service users in developing coping strategies, improving daily living skills, and reintegrating into the community.
