Sewell Wallis are partnering with a global business in York who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team.

What will you be doing?

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and providing meaningful commentary on financial results and trends.
  • Overseeing internal orders, SLA's and transfer pricing.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts helping to predict future costs, revenues and profitability to support strategic business decisions.
  • Working closely with the cost centre owners, providing valuable data insights and cost control recommendations.
  • Negotiating contracts across the group, both in the UK and globally.
  • Supporting non finance colleagues, helping them to understand and manage key processes.
  • Ensuring compliance.
  • Ad hoc project based work.
  • Supporting and mentoring other team members.

What skills do we need

  • PQ Accountant towards the end of studies/qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
