Manpower is currently seeking an experienced Yard Person / Shunter with a Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence for their client based in Gatenby / Northallerton DL7 9 post code area.
This is a long-term ongoing contract that is likely to become permanent.
The ideal candidate should have experience driving trucks and using a counterbalance fork lift.
The role involves:
- 60% loading and unloading pallets on and off trucks
- Manual work and other warehouse duties
- Shunting on the yard
- Moving stock using a counterbalance forklift
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm. Some overtime is available during the week and on weekends, paid at time and a half after 45 hours.
The pay rate is 12.57 per hour.
Candidates must pass an interview on-site, and complete an FLT driving assessment.
