Our client are a global company, serving multiple industries and provide solutions that increase the efficiency and safety of multiple engineering areas. 

For this role they are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with the ability to manage design projects from initial concept/enquiry through detailed design to manufacturing handover.

You'll need to be skilled in high-level language programming and have a strong understanding of Hardware design also.

What you'll be tasked with

  • Managing design projects from initial concept/enquiry through detailed design to manufacturing handover.
  • Providing design input on projects, using the technical competencies listed below.
  • Generating ideas for developments and new products.
  • Be responsible for small projects, or sub-sections of larger products.
  • Producing engineering designs, specifications and documentation to ISO 9001.
  • Assisting in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals.

Skills
  • C and C++
  • Real-Time programming
  • Micro-controller experience
  • Comms protocols (RS232, I2C, SPI, UART etc)
  • PCB Design
  • Control Systems Design

You'll need to be able to showcase a minimum of 3yrs experience within an engineering design environment.
