Landscape Architect Job in North Yorkshire

Landscape Architect Job joining a rural consultancy focused on design and planning across the UK. Working on complex rural and protected landscape projects, due to the needs of the role they would consider applications up to Senior/ Principal Landscape Architects.

This established planning and design consultancy, with over 20 years of experience and a team of 50+ experts, specialises in enhancing the countryside through high-quality projects. With their office based in North Yorkshire, surrounded by the lush landscapes of North Yorkshire, offering an inspiring setting for creative minds.



Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues to support and influence key design decisions
  • Contribute to the conceptual design and strategic planning of landscape projects
  • Apply strong technical skills in landscape architecture to project development
  • Provide technical assessments for projects in sensitive and protected areas
  • Conduct Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) for various projects
  • Travelling to site when needed.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 2-3 years of relevant UK project experience (they are open to candidates with a bit more experience as well)
  • Strong technical skills, especially in landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs)
  • Preferably experience working on rural/protected landscape projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite software and Microsoft Office
  • Driving license and car.
