A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, independent Estate & Land Agency based in the beautiful market town of Bedale. Our multi-disciplined firm operates across rural North Yorkshire and South Durham, offering a wide range of professional services to a loyal and growing client base.

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Estate Agent to become a key part of our expanding team. This is a varied and rewarding role with the chance to gain exposure to a wide spectrum of rural surveying and land agency work. The successful candidate will have strong estate agency experience, be enthusiastic, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced rural environment.

You will play a vital role in supporting and managing property sales while also gaining experience across multiple disciplines, including:

  • Rural Property Sales and Valuations
  • Compensation and Compulsory Purchase Matters
  • Landlord and Tenant Issues
  • Agricultural Grants, Schemes & Subsidies
  • Day-to-day estate management and advisory tasks

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage your own workload
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • IT proficiency and adaptability
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • A rural or farming background is beneficial but not essential
