Audit DirectorOverview:

In this key leadership role, you will be instrumental in shaping the firm's future audit services, driving growth, and championing innovation within the audit function.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of auditors, overseeing an audit portfolio within a well-established and growing accounting firm.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on audit workflows, resource allocation, and future direction.
  • Review and prepare audit documentation, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Offer expert advice on complex audit-related projects and issues.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure clients receive comprehensive, integrated business solutions.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing training and guidance to support professional growth.
  • Represent the firm at networking events and business forums, proactively identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities & additional services to both new and existing clients.
  • Set the standard as a hands-on Director, leading by example and maintaining a proactive, client-focused approach.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Proven ability to represent the firm in new networks and generate new business.
  • Extensive experience in audit and accounting, with a thorough understanding of current standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and driving successful projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
