Bhav Kotecha is delighted to be recruiting for an outstanding and rare opportunity for an authentic commercial controller to work very closely within the senior management team and reports directly to the Managing Director, whilst working closely with the Corporate Team in a very successful Healthcare organisation

The role is based in Bedford on an Hybrid basis but around the Business requirements as this role is imperative in partnering with the commercial teams and project teams.

Salary on offer is circa £75-85k plus Industry leading benefits which include:

Job Purpose

  • This is a commercially focused finance role, that sits within the senior management team for the Healthacre Business in the UK, and reports directly to the Managing Director.
  • Whilst working closely with the Corporate Team in the UK.
  • The Commercial Financial Controller will be responsible for the management of the commercial finance function within the Healthcare business, along with ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • It is expected that the successful post holder will support any M&A activity currently being planned by the Healthcare business, and support the commercial functions with Financial guidance and reviewing project budgets.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the financial strategic planning for UK
  • Execute the annual budget process and interim forecasts.
  • Support M&A activity with analysis and forecasting as well as integration of new businesses within the group.
  • Responsible for monthly internal business reporting of relevant units.
  • Analysis, interpretation and documentation of monthly figures.
  • Support commercial functions supporting deal reviews for large projects, validating financial information and ensuring accuracy for forecasting.
  • Management and mentoring of the Finance Business Partner ensuring, month end activity and ad-hoc tasks are completed to deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations, and support best practise in financial management.
  • Must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of Financial management is a must.
  • Previous experience supporting M&A activity and/or working within a matrix structure organisation is desirable
  • Managing time, planning, being effective, efficient, productive and reliable.
