Reports To: Divisional Finance Director

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

Our client is a dynamic division of a publicly listed company, operating in a high-growth, technology-focused environment. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a commercially astute Financial Controller to drive financial strategy, ensure robust financial controls, and support business decision-making.

Role Summary:

As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while supporting strategic initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the division meets its financial objectives in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial control, reporting, and compliance within the division.

• Lead and manage financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting and forecasting.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

• Develop and implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, providing financial insight to drive operational efficiency and business performance.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

• Provide strategic financial support for business growth, investments, and cost management initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and corporate policies.

Key Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 7+ years post-qualification

experience (PQE).

• Proven experience in a Financial Controller role within a high-growth, technology-driven environment.

• Strong technical accounting skills, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop finance professionals.

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive financial performance.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategy.

• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
