Are you organised, detail-oriented, and skilled in office administration and personal assistant duties?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bedford, seeking a skilled Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to support daily operations, oversee administrative tasks, and contribute to the success of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors, handle calls, manage mail, and oversee office supplies.
  • Maintain attendance records, support payroll updates, and assist with onboarding.
  • Manage Health & Safety logs and fleet administration.
  • Manage the MD’s diary, appointments, and correspondence.
  • Handle CV applications, job postings, and general admin tasks.
  • Provide ad-hoc personal and professional support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent; further training in administration or HR is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in admin and PA duties, ideally within manufacturing or construction, with knowledge of Health & Safety protocols. Experience in fleet management and vehicle admin is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with payroll systems.
  • Meticulous record-keeping, scheduling, and data management.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
