Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Processing applications for CILEX Members who want to qualify as Chartered Legal Executives. Liaising with the applicants on the process of their applications, providing guidance and updates via telephone and email.
- Providing support and cover for the Practitioner Authorisation and Supervision Officer and Manager. Providing administrative support for external assessors.
- Assist in producing and providing guidance
- Contribute to changes and updates to processes, forms and templates
- To be responsible for providing administrative support to the Practitioner Authorisation and Supervision team
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Educated to A’ level or equivalent.
- Sound administrative skills including word and excel.
- Good communication skills verbal and written; able to be both concise and accurate.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective professional internal and external relationships.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to take responsibility for meeting tight deadlines and own workload.
- Experience of working effectively and efficiently both individually and as a team.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the legal profession, legal services and qualification routes in the legal sector.
- Experience of working within the legal sector or a higher education setting.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics 365

This is a mostly work from home role but on occasion the role requires attendnce in the office at Silsoe, Bedfordshire.
