Sonic Summary
- The client is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer for a 3-month contract position on a hybrid basis.
- Candidates must have 5 to 10 years of experience in the Structural Design sector, preferably with a variety of materials, mainly metals.
- Proficiency in CAD Design using CATIA V5 and SOLIDWORKS is required, with CATIA V6 being a plus.
- The role involves working with 3D CAD and converting designs into 2D drawings, as well as familiarity with High Speed Machining.
- The standard workweek consists of 37.5 hours, with potential hybrid work of 1-2 days in the office and 3-4 days from home.
Contract - Hybrid
Due to significant expansion, our client are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to work on a Hybrid basis for a period of approximately 3 months initially.
Suitable candidates will have proven working knowledge of CAD Design with CATIA V5 and SOLIDWORKS packages. If candidates have CATIA V6, that would be desirable but not essential. Aerospace / Airframe Design work.
Client requires candidates to be able to work with 3D CAD and transpose the material on to a 2D basis for drawings.
You must have a minimum of 5 - 10 years experience working within the Structural Design sector - ideally with a variety of materials (predominantly metals)
Must be familiar with High Speed Machining.
Standard working day is 8.25 hours Monday to Thursday, and 4.5 hrs Friday (37.5 hr week)
Hybrid working (potentailly 1 - 2 days office / 3 - 4 days Working from Home)
Contract is initially for 3 Months - Immediate starts subject to acceptance.
