Machine Operator

Location: Milton Keynes until Mid-March then Relocating Bedford

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3.30pm (40hr paid week)

Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full Time

Pay Rate: £12 per hour – reviewed after 12 weeks

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for an opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking company? We are hiring Machine Operatives to join our client’s dynamic team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This role will initially be based in Milton Keynes but in early 2025 the business is relocating so will be fully based at their new premises in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Minor use of CNC Machinery – full training will be provided.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor machine faults and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role operating industrial machinery essential.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience working in a Print environment highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to commute to Milton Keynes initially – flexibility and own transport is essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
