Class 1 driver required for a well-established construction equipment hire and sale company that offers services on a national scale. Due to ongoing success and growth a position has arose to jump their ever-growing team based out of their depot near St Neots. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and it is mandatory to hold your Class 1 driving licence & driver CPC qualification.
Class 1 Driver Job Overview- Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to transport goods to construction sites across London and various locations in the UK, adhering to all road safety regulations and company guidelines
- Handle and lift heavy goods as required, ensuring all items are transported, loaded, and unloaded with care to maintain their quality and prevent damage
- Utilize advanced smart technology to streamline the delivery process, enhance efficiency, and maintain precise, up-to-date records of deliveries and logistics.
- Communicate effectively with customers and site personnel to provide excellent service, address any concerns, and ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience
- Class 1 and CPC driver qualification mandatory
- Experience in a similar position beneficial but not essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Willing to handle and lift heavy goods when required for the position
- Commutable distance to St Neots
- £27,000-£30,000 salary dependant on experience
- 371/2-hour week (Flexible hours dependant on business needs with potential starts as early as 6am)
