CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: EARLY START TIMES 03:00 - 07:00

OR

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: LATE START TIMES 14:00 - 18:30

PAY RATE: £18.00 - £20.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes.

Rates of Pay:

• AM Start Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
• PM Start Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Store deliveries or mainly caged goods, which can include handball.
• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid CPC Card & Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
