Class 2 Driver

Flexible People Ltd is seeking skilled Class 2 drivers, for a well known and prestigious client of ours, based in Bedford.

The client are leading worldwide Freight Forwarding company. The company has been established for over ninety years and are continuously expanding its business. The company is proud to have an in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to ensure that all legislation is met, surrounding the goods that are being moved, as some of them can be hazardous.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for multidrop deliveries to different depots and sub-depots across the UK. This is a multidrop role and will require the delivery and unloading of hazardous products.

The Duties are to include -
- Complete runs
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of items
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

This is a morning start time of 07:00 (shifts last approximately 8-10 hours).

The role is Monday to Friday.

The salary is £17.81 per hour, including holiday pay.

- Proficiency in operating a Class 2 Lorry

- A valid CPC, Digital Tachograph and Class 1 license.

- A National Insurance Number
