Insight Employment are recruiting for experienced Class Two HGV drivers to work for a local client of ours in Bedford.
You will be doing deliveries with the assistances of a driver’s mate and full training will be given.
Duties: -
- Multi drop deliveries driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to their customer.
- Supporting the Drive Mates & Warehouse team in loading/Unloading stock.
- Building excellent working relationships with their customers & other departments.
- Greeting and liaising with clients upon delivery.
- Lifting heavy.
- Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
- Holding health & safety at the forefront of all processes.
Requirements: -
- Must have HGV class two experience for a minimum of a year.
- Must have a valid CPC card/Tacho licence.
- Must have had your licence for at least one year, have a maximum of 6 points (no CD, DD, DR, IN endorsements).
- Must be happy with start times between 06:00 - 07:30 until finish.
- Must be reliable.
- Must by physically fit due to heavy lifting.
- Must have great customer service.
- Must have good geographical knowledge.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
Hours
Monday - Friday 06:00 start to finish.
Rates
£15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience
This is ongoing work and a temp to perm position to a suitable candidate.
