Position:HGV Drivers (Class 1 and 2)
Location:Bedford / Biggleswade / Milton Keynes
Pay Rates:Between £16.00 - £21.00ph, dependingon holidays and Shift Pattern
Job Type:Full-time / Part-time / Temporary
We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV Drivers on behalf of our client. Positions are available InBedford / Biggleswade / Milton Keynes, providing you with great opportunities to work with a leading company in the transport sector. If you are an experienced driver looking for work in the area on an Ahoc or ongoing basis, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with all UK laws and regulations.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely manor
- Carry out vehicle checks, ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and reporting any defects.
- Load and unload goods as required, working within health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Provide excellent customer service on behalf on the client
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV License
- Commutable toBedford / Biggleswade / Milton Keynes
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A clean driving record, no more than 6 points, with a strong understanding of road safety.
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of EU Driving Hours & HGV Working Time Directive rules.
- 12 months Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
