Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Formulation Development Team Leader to join a specialist pharmaceutical company based in the Bedfordshire.
Your duties and responsibilities as a Formulation Development Leader will include:
- The design and development of robust formulations according to project briefs, accounting for required claims, excipient and packaging compatibility, physical characteristics and stability and costs.
- Successfully manage multiple projects at once, maintaining accurate documentation of all research and development activities.
- Lead production scale up trials to ensure seamless tech transfer from pilot to commercial scale.
- Lead and support clinical trial activities.
A successful candidate for the Formulation Development Lead position will demonstrate the following:
- Degree level education in Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic Science.
- Experience in formulation development within the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry, preferably with topical, transdermal, skincare, liquid or semi-solid formulations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or cosmetic ingredients and their interactions.
