Senior Inorganic Analyst - Environmental
Location - Bedfordshire
Our client is global provider of contract analytical services and has a current need for an experience Inorganic Analyst to join the company and support with client projects within the environmental sector.
Core responsibilities will include;
- Analysis of environmental samples
- Support sample preparation and ensure compliance with customer needs
- Utilise analytical equipment including - TOC and TN Analysers, flow injection analysers and discrete analysers
- Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- Perform method development and validation when needed
- Process and interpret analytical results
Suitable applications must have:
- Prior experience working in an accredited (UKAS or equivalent) laboratory
- Familiarity with environmental samples
- Experience with analytical equipment - TOC and TN Analysers, flow injection analysers and discrete analysers
- Understanding of troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
- Experience with method development and validation would be beneficial
- BSc in Chemistry (or related discipline)
In return, my client offers a permanent position with an annual salary between £28,000-35,000 dependent on experience.
