The Civil Enforcement Officer (Parking Attendant) will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in order to minimise vehicles parking in contravention, through the issue of penalty charge notices.

Please note, you will be required to apply for Standard DBS clearance as part of the Recruitment process. You will need a full clean Driving Licence.

37 hours per week working between 7am - 9.30pm on a shift basis (part time hours will also be considered)

The parking enforcement team aims to provide a high quality of civil enforcement action throughout central Bedfordshire to ensure the free movement of traffic and rotation of car parking spaces within car parks and on street parking. Our client endeavours to maximise compliance of parking restrictions through education and enforcement by providing local residents, visitors and businesses clear and effective parking solutions to help make sure central Bedfordshire is a great place to live and work.

Using your great communication skills, you will be confident in dealing with members of the public, council members and partners while representing the council in a positive and proactive manner.
