We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to work on RC Frame & Groundwork project based in Bedford. The project will be a mixture of Groundwork and reinforced concrete works. It is a 6-8 Months project.
As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Management of work to high standards of performance in line with project procedures and applicable standards, through the leadership of “setting to work” briefing with safety and quality focus.
- Management with direction, expectation, and priorities for daily activities.
- Experience of method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
- Required limited setting out
- Manage Labour onsite
- Early design reviews
- Carrying out of quality assurance
- Producing activity control, inspection, and test plans
- Ensuring a safe working practice
- Manageing material and plant on site.
- Producing daily diary
- SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification
Skills:
- Previously worked as a Project Engineer.
- You have experience in Groundwork and Steel/RC works
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
- Ideal candidate must have rights to live and work in UK
