Here at Blueprint Recruitment our client, a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their innovative and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile infrastructure and development projects across the UK, with a company that values technical excellence, creativity, and continuous professional development.

This exciting role will be offered on a permanent basis, with a hybrid working model. You will be require to work three days a week in the clients office in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, including roads and drainage.

-Produce drawings, calculations, and specs using Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.

-Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

-Coordinate with clients, contractors, local authorities, and internal teams.

-Prepare technical reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.

-Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

-Chartered or working towards chartered status (ICE or equivalent).

-Solid experience in infrastructure design for residential and commercial schemes.

-Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.

-Strong knowledge of UK standards and approval processes.

-Confident communicator with leadership and project management skills.
