I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a site engineer to manage the engineering on a large infrastructure and highways scheme. My client operate across the UK delivering large scale infrastructure packages.
Site engineer responsibilities:
- Conducting daily site surveys.
- Machine control.
- Quality assurance.
- Volume calculations.
- Producing and recording As-built surveys.
- Liaising with main contractor.
- Reporting to the project manager.
Site engineer requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering or surveying.
- CSCS card.
- Previous experience with civils and earthworks.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Proficient with LSS software or N4CE or Trimble business centre.
- Proficient with GPS and total station surveying equipment (Trimble or Topcon).
- Full UK driving licence.
