Sub Agent - Heavy Highway Works - St. Neots

a leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to join our team on a significant highway project in the St. Neots area. This is an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to a project that will enhance the region's infrastructure and transportation network.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site operations, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of construction activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with the project manager, site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sub Agent in heavy highway projects, including experience in road construction, resurfacing, or drainage works.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget.
  • A strong advocate for safety, actively promoting a culture of safety awareness and ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
