Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a Powder Coater for one of our longest standing clients based in Bedford.
The successful Powder Coater would be part of the sheet metal fabrication team. All the painters within the company use handheld paint guns and individual booths, to paint the company's internally manufactured and designed metal parts.
Powder Coater Job Overview
- Painting - dry powder coat.
- Paint in two colours - black and white.
- Painting a variety of parts in size and quality, before they head to assembly.
- Not painting as part of a moving assembly line - consistent daily flow of work as part of the pre-assembly production process.
- Inspecting and packing painted components ready for dispatch to assembly departments.
- Maintaining their workstations and loading / unloading paint trolleys.
- Clean down work station.
- Small amounts of preparation work ahead of spraying - when required.
Powder Coater Job Requirements
- Previous experience working in a powder coater / painter role.
- Previous experience working in pre-assembly and production process environments.
- Keen interest in engineering and manufacturing.
- Based a commutable distance to Bedford and a Full UK driving licence to commute would be beneficial.
Powder Coater Salary & Benefits
- Salary - 26,000 to 30,000 - DOE.
- Working hours - Monday to Friday. (7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm).
- Pension scheme - 8% employer pension.
- 22 days holiday package + bank holidays.
